The Origin
Why MSK Exists
My Sister's Keeper was born from the belief that women and girls deserve spaces where they can be seen, supported, restored, and reminded they do not have to become alone.
"I believe healing is not only something we talk about. It is something we design for — through words, sound, color, community, advocacy, storytelling, and spaces that help the nervous system exhale."
MSK was not built from a boardroom. It was built from lived experience — from the moments of being unseen, the seasons of becoming without a guide, and the deep knowing that something different was possible. Something softer. Something that felt like home.

The Story
Founder Story
There are women who carry entire worlds inside them — who show up for everyone else while quietly wondering if anyone will show up for them. This founder has been that woman. She built MSK so no woman would have to wonder alone.
"I did not build this for recognition.
I built it because I needed it to exist."
From the early seeds of community to the growing MSK ecosystem — every element has been built with intention, care, and the women it serves at the center of every decision.

The Meaning of the Herd
Elephants are matriarchal — led by the oldest, wisest female who remembers the path, knows where the water is, and turns the herd around when they're heading toward danger. They grieve. They protect. They remember. They don't leave anyone behind.
"We are in a herd, not at a herd."
The herd is not a metaphor for a group. It is a metaphor for a way of being — collective, protective, memory-holding, and deeply relational. In MSK, every woman is both protected and protector. Every woman carries wisdom worth passing forward.

Sound within MSK is not background noise. It is an environment — intentionally designed to support emotional wellness, reflection, and the kind of deep exhale that most women never give themselves permission to take.
