Elephant societies are among the most sophisticated communities on earth. Led by elder matriarchs, held together by memory and collective care, they do not leave their own behind. They grieve. They protect. They teach. They remember.

My Sister's Keeper was founded by Shawna — a daughter, mother, storyteller, and community builder who believed women deserved spaces where they could feel seen, supported, and safe to become.
What began as a personal search for belonging grew into a movement rooted in connection, restoration, emotional wellness, and collective care.
